Hand Built Pottery

All of the pottery you see here has either been slab built, hand built or thrown on the wheel. I use dark, white and speckled clays. Once a piece is built, it's set on a shelf to dry completely - and underglazed if desired, before being loaded into the kiln for firing. Most pieces are bisque fired, glazed and then final fired to cone 6. I just got in some low fire clay to work with some interesting low-fire glazes I've found- so stay tuned!!
I do not have any pieces currently for sale through the site but do have some pieces in stock. If you are interested in a piece please feel free to contact me and if I have it in stock you're welcome to purchase it otherwise I will recreate it as best I can. Please understand that all pieces are hand built so no two pieces are identical as they are not slip casted.
All of the glazes I use are non-toxic, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. However, you may find that I don't recommend food usage depending on certain glaze characteristics, so please take heed.
